In compliance with the IPR-PFRD Act (Act 51 of 2008), UWC has established a Technology Transfer Office, whose primary purpose is to ensure the protection and transfer of UWC's Intellectual Property in line with the UWC Intellectual Property Policy, which can be found within section 10 of the Research Policy:
